Our Wrap Quality Standards

Not all vehicle wraps are created equal! When researching graphics wrap providers, ask for specifications to be listed in the quote so you can make an informed comparison. Remember that even though a wrap may be less expensive initially, it is not a good investment if the wrap doesn’t last as expected and has to be replaced.

Calendared vs. Cast Vinyl

The #1 factor in the longevity of your wrap is the type of vinyl. There are two different categories of vinyl that can be used for vehicle wraps: calendared and cast. Calendared vinyl is thicker and has a more aggressive adhesive. Cast vinyl has an ultra-thin premium quality, is highly conformable, and is clean-removing. Calendared vinyl is typically 50% less expensive and may look great at first, but over several months it will start to shrink and eventually fail. Signworks uses only premium 3M™ brand 1080 cast vinyl in a 2-mil premium thickness for all of our vehicle wraps. This will ensure that every wrap looks great for years. Signworks confidently offers a 3 year limited warranty on our product.

Protective Laminate

A wrap is an investment, and a quality wrap should last! We use a clear UV laminate over all of our vehicle wrap graphics to protect them from scratches and fading. Signworks uses a premium 3M™ product that has high conformability and flexibility and gives UV, weathering, and abrasion protection.

Fully Cured OEM Ink

We use only high quality original equipment manufacturer ink for our Mimaki JV33 printers to achieve great durability and undeniable precision. Even though OEM ink is more expensive, we find that it translates into superior print quality. We allow the ink on the graphics to fully cure before lamination to ensure a beautiful print and proper adhesion.

3 Year Warranty
